Do Good

We believe in doing good.
Each of us severally and all of us together are responsible for the world we live in and each one of us are here to help others.

Help others learn about the environment, about the personal choices we can make in our consumption patterns and about our behavior - choices which are becoming more and more crucial for the environment and for our health.

We need to make a difference.
We are passionate about our community. Our business model is centered on giving back to our local, global and environmental communities.

We believe that yoga, dance, Pilates, and other holistic fitness instructors are the unsung heros of a broad awakening around the world. They deserve recognition and our support. Therefore we have instituted our teacher program. We also encourage and support local charitable events - in various locations around the US.

Woman Artisan Program.
On a global scale, we offer handmade artisan pieces, in addition to our core line, to benefit underserved women’s communities who make them. And we actively seek new opportunities to support new artisan communities.

The Snow Leopard.
For the environment and preservation of diversity, a percentage of our profit goes to the Snow Leopard Trust, dedicated to saving the rare and beautiful snow leopard from extinction. They do it largely by marketing artisan crafts made by villagers in the snow leopard belt of the Himalayas and Pamir mountain ranges where the snow leopards would otherwise be hunted. We will soon be offering these products as well.

The snow leopard is the inspiration for our company name, and the company logo is akin to traditional representations of that legendary animal from the remote countries of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyzstan, some of the countries who are most familiar with the snow leopard and where the snow leopard has a deep cultural meaning.

Independent Organic Farming.
And finally of course we strongly support sustainable independent farming - farming by farmers who care and who take direct responsibility for their actions.

Farmers who have an uphill battle against farming conglomerates, international corporations, genetically modified seeds and artificially low cotton prices in order to struggle for existence. This we do by paying the necessary premium for hand-harvested, truly organic cotton from independent farmers.

Do your part.
You can do your part through your daily choices and actions, and of course also by buying organic, sustainable and fair trade. And spreading the word.

Eliminate plastic and synthetic materials from your life and your environment. 97% of all plastic will never be recycled, and it leaks harmful chemicals into the environment for thousands of years. Plastic increases our dependence on crude oil and all that entails.

Radically reduce your use of energy and fossil-fuel transportation. Get your workout on a bicycle and not a treadmill. Get your peace through meditation, yoga, dance and social interaction. Spread the love.
