Hot in the Hamam!
Talk about hot! Prespiring heavily, our model - the well-known turkish Yogi Basak Kocoglu - still managed to enjoy herself while demonstrating yoga in front of the camera in the ancient hamam. Thanks to our organic cotton clothes!
We obtained special permission for the gorgeous Cemberlitas Hamam in Istanbul - in operation since 1584 - the ideal location to celebrate the ancient traditions of both yoga and hamam (cemberlitashamami.com.tr). We were honored to secure the filmmaker Ugur Aydedim as photographer. But we had to scramble - the whole shoot had to be done in the wee hours of the morning when the Hamam is closed - including mounting lighting on the ancient dome.
